## Description

In these times when all of us are relying on GPS, it may be worthwhile to stop a moment and give some thought to not having a GPS at all. <br>If you are anything like me, it really is a challenge to work a sun or star sight after not having done so for some time.<br>This app fills in where you left off. The only thing to remember (or learn) is to handle a sextant.<br>StarFinder is a one-screen App and has been kept as simple as possible.<br>This app will be equally useful for the professional navigator, the yachtsman as well as the layman.<br>Most navigators use the ‘Air Navigation Tables’ for the star identification as the easiest method to prepare for a position fix. This app will pre-compute your most suitable stars for position fixing.<br>No Nautical Almanac, Nories or other tables are required; the one page App gives you what you need for both star finding and position fixing  <br>There are no &#39;bells &amp; whistles&#39; here, but the app gives what is essential and necessary, 58 of the brightest stars and how to find them, sun, moon and planets and a ‘line of position’ (LOP) for the navigators.
