## Description
Misty Screen Recorder is a completely free, ad-free screen recorder with no watermark, no time limits, and no internet access. Everything runs on your device - your recordings never leave your phone.
RECORD YOUR SCREEN IN HIGH QUALITY
- Record in HD up to your device's maximum resolution, frame rate, and bitrate
- All quality settings are free - nothing is locked
- Simple one-tap recording, or fine-tune encoder, resolution, frame rate, bitrate, and output format in Advanced settings
RECORD SYSTEM AUDIO, MICROPHONE, OR BOTH
- Capture internal device audio: games, videos, music, and app sound (Android 10 and newer)
- Record microphone commentary only
- Or mix system audio and microphone together — perfect for gameplay videos and tutorials
FLOATING RECORDING CONTROLS
- A small floating bubble stays on screen while you record
- Pause, resume, or stop the recording from anywhere, without returning to the app
- Live recording timer with a clear recording indicator
BUILT-IN RECORDINGS LIBRARY AND PLAYER
- Browse all your recordings with thumbnails, duration, and file size
- Play videos in the built-in full-screen player
- Share or delete recordings directly from the list
TRIM YOUR VIDEOS
- Cut out exactly the part you want with simple drag handles
- Lossless trimming: no re-encoding, no quality loss, finishes in seconds
PRIVATE VAULT WITH ENCRYPTION
- Hide personal videos so they disappear from your gallery and every other app
- Optionally protect them with AES-256 encryption backed by your device's secure hardware
- Vault is locked with your own PIN and blocks screenshots
- Restore hidden videos to your gallery at any time
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics
- The app does not request internet access, so your videos physically cannot be uploaded anywhere
Note: System audio capture requires Android 10 or newer. Some apps (such as DRM-protected video services and phone calls) do not allow their audio to be captured, as enforced by Android.
