CaseBook is a detective game where you do the actual work of an investigation.
You search the scene, question the suspects, catch them contradicting
themselves, and then put your name on the accusation. No hand-holding, no
arrows pointing at the answer. Just you, the evidence, and a killer who is
counting on you getting it wrong.

HOW A CASE WORKS

Open the file and read the briefing. Explore the rooms and search them for
physical evidence — nearly thirty clues are hidden in every case. Sit down with
each suspect and take their statement. They will lie to you. Your job is to
find the piece of evidence that proves it.

Everything you find goes into your evidence notebook, where a logic board waits
to be filled in. Cross-reference what you know, eliminate what cannot be true,
and narrow five suspects down to one.

When you are ready, seal your accusation. You must name all five: who killed
them, in which room, with which weapon, over which drink, and at what hour. Get
one detail wrong and the case stays open.
