## Description

Home Controller is a client for a self-hosted home automation system —<br>not a generic smart home app tied to a specific manufacturer or cloud service, but a control panel connected to self-developed<br>ESP32/ESP8266-based devices, MQTT broker, and backend.<br><br>LIVE DEVICE MONITORING<br>- Live sensor data (temperature, humidity, brightness) via MQTT, with instant updates<br>- Device status: firmware version, WiFi signal strength, free memory, uptime<br><br>DEVICE CONTROL<br>- Send message to device display<br>- Remote control of tunable white LED strip (on/off, brightness, preset profiles)<br>- Device reboot, start firmware update<br><br>DEVICE MANAGEMENT<br>- Add, rename, delete your own devices<br>- Approve/reject registration of new devices<br>- Turn on/off automatic firmware update per device<br><br>SHARE<br>- Share devices with other registered users, with view or write rights<br>- Accept/reject incoming sharing requests<br><br>SECURITY<br>- Password and passcode (biometric/passkey) login<br>- Network traffic can only go to your own server (network security config +<br>certificate pinning), local session data is stored encrypted on the device<br>- No third-party advertising or analytics in the app<br><br>The app requires its own, running IoT backend and MQTT broker to function — it does not include a built-in<br>cloud service and is not compatible with smart home systems from other manufacturers.
