## Description

The Softec AR app: trade fair edition is available for download especially for Surface Technology Germany 2022. Trade fair visitors can use the app to virtually explore the WOTech joint stand (Hall 1, Stand H10) with their smartphones. Simply scan one of the large QR codes on one of the partner stands.<br><br>The app was developed as part of the SmARtPlaS (Smart Augmented Reality Plating Services) research project and is intended to enable predictive maintenance in production. Important information is made visible at a glance in the appropriate place.<br>For example, virtual data tables - via interfaces to systems and to the ERP - should show corresponding information and measured values, such as bath temperature, temperature profiles, concentrations in baths and maintenance information such as planned maintenance work.<br>In addition to text, the app can also show graphics, e.g. diagrams, and display external links that can be accessed via buttons. Maintenance and asset information is displayed exactly where it is needed.<br><br>For the trade fair edition, for example, the data tables show information about the project partners and their focal points and products. You can also take part in an AR competition and answer virtual quiz questions displayed at the exhibition stands.<br><br>The app has a trade fair preview mode so that you can test the functions of the Softec AR app before you visit the trade fair. Data tables from the project partners are displayed in a ring around the smartphone; You can tap buttons on individual panels to go to the respective project partner&#39;s website.
