SIPCOT HerbGarden

The SIPCOT Herbal Garden App provides an interactive way to explore native
medicinal plants using QR-based digital learning. Developed for the Medicinal
Device Park at SIPCOT HerbGarden, this application helps visitors, students,
researchers, and industry professionals access authentic plant information
instantly through a simple QR scan.

The project is part of SIPCOT’s vision to promote sustainable, knowledge-driven
industrial ecosystems in Tamil Nadu. SIPCOT, established in 1971, focuses on
developing industrial parks and supporting medium and large-scale industries
across the state.

Each plant in the Herbal Garden is assigned a unique QR code that gives users:
• Botanical names
• Medicinal properties
• Traditional and modern applications
• Ecological importance
• Plant category and usage

The initiative blends traditional herbal knowledge with modern technology to
support environmental conservation, digital awareness, and public engagement.
The project is conceptualized by Sun Constructions and executed by Ecoscape
India and AAPGS Pvt. Ltd., ensuring a seamless experience that connects
construction, landscaping, and digital innovation.
