Create your own message encryption key and share with your friends that are in the same group. That way, create a secure messaging environment only you can read. Your messages can not be read by those who don't know encryption key.

Not only your messages but also images are being encrypted with the encryption key you create. So nobody can decrypt your images and view, besides your friends in the group.

We never share your data with third parties and the app doesn't contain any advertisment. Your messages and informations are being encrypted on a military level in a way that nobody can decrypt and read and this tops the privacy level. Selfcrypted doesn't have disturbing notification system so you can't see any information about messages without opening the app. That is a great way to ensure privacy.

Users can't direct message other users and can only join groups with invites. Invites can be send by only those who are authorized by the owner of the group. So you can protect and hide the group from unwanted people.

No phone number or direct personal info needed when creaating an account. We suggest using Proton mail as the mail system thats chosen by the users.
