── How ScrollIQ uses the Accessibility Service ──

ScrollIQ uses Android's Accessibility Service to detect and count the individual Reels, Shorts and Spotlight videos you scroll through in apps like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Snapchat. This reel/short count is a core part of how ScrollIQ calculates your daily Brain Score and powers leaderboards and challenges with friends.

The Accessibility Service reads only the on-screen layout of these short video feeds to recognise when a new reel appears. It does NOT read, collect, store, or transmit your messages, passwords, or any other personal
content — in ScrollIQ or in any other app. All reel detection is processed on your device.

This permission is optional.
