2026-05-09	fr*****	It works but what a messy app! It's all over the place, Arc is slightly better in that regard. No consistencies in available features depending on screen size! No possibility to rename Muse process to give you a clue of what the implied filters may do to your signal chain. Tidal daily syncing fails until rebooting server. Stalling on Qobuz tracks. Display randomly shows if the track I am listening to is or not in my library and fails to show me what playlist or tag it may be associated with.

2026-03-03	Mi*****	Using Roon for about 3 months now. Experience in the beginning was really nice, but recently its reeeealy frustrating. Android remote app is losing connection to the ROCK server while ARC is playing just fine. Windows app also works. After rebooting the server, reinstalling the android app, multiple router reboots, switch reboot, clearing the app cache and data now it finally works. I'll se for how long, but if it happens again I'll cancel my subscription for sure.

2026-02-18	Mi*****	Roon has been hot garbage for more than a year. It is incredibly finicky and will stop working on setups that were working. It was better before Harman acquired it. Now it is trash that barely works. Roon's service is basically nonexistent. For years they've asked you to paste your debug into a web forum. Sonos just works. Roon charges fees and just doesn't. The advice to always go wired or buy a new piece of hardware is, frankly, ridiculous. They don't work well with anything wired networking.

The mobile app still needs to allow the user to adjust EQ curves---not possible even in landscape mode: this is a HUGE miss; now I need my tablet AND my phone, the former to make adjustments on the fly, and the latter to select tracks for T&E of the EQ changes.
