Read your grid. Prepare your route. Navigate in the field.<br><br>Red Grid MGRS is a navigation companion for land navigation training, search and rescue, and backcountry use. Read live MGRS coordinates, check direction and distance, and work with saved waypoints. Core coordinate tools work without an internet connection when your device has a usable location fix.<br><br>FREE TO START<br>- Live 10-digit MGRS coordinates<br>- Compass and a single saved waypoint<br>- Back Azimuth, Pace Count, Declination and Distress Signalling tools<br>- SALUTE, 9-Line MEDEVAC and SPOT report templates<br><br>RED GRID PRO<br>- All 12 field tools and six report templates<br>- Up to 10 waypoint lists with 20 points each<br>- Route readiness checks, navigation progress and local session review<br>- Import supported local MBTiles files for offline maps; map files are not included<br>- GPX/KML import and export<br>- Optional Meshtastic radio connection, position sharing and team features<br>- Additional coordinate formats, voice readout, HUD and display controls<br><br>TACTICAL DISPLAY<br>A red-on-black display with in-app brightness controls and blackout recovery. Use the standard display for everyday readability. Device screens and operating-system dialogs vary; this is not night-vision equipment certification.<br><br>PREPARE BEFORE GOING OFFLINE<br>Imported maps must cover your intended area. Online maps and purchases use their respective providers. Radio features require compatible Meshtastic hardware and configuration; phones alone do not provide the radio link. Coordinate resolution is not a guarantee of GPS accuracy.<br><br>PRIVACY AND SOURCE<br>No Red Grid account, advertising, analytics or cloud sync. Saved waypoints, route progress and settings remain in local app storage unless you export or share them. Optional radio sharing transmits information to other radios; online map providers and app stores handle their own service requests.<br><br>Our source is available to inspect under the repository license.
