## Description

Some books are finished in a weekend. Others stay with you for years. Booktelier is for the lines, questions, notes, and ideas you want to keep after the last page.

Your private reading atelier.

◆ Capture a line from a photo
Photograph a page and choose only the lines you want to keep. Text recognition runs on the device. Add the page number, correct the text if needed, or continue a passage across the next page.

◆ Review
Turn saved passages and ideas into review cards. Use front-and-back or fill-in-the-blank cards, then let spaced repetition bring them back as memory begins to fade. You can create cards yourself. AI card generation is optional.

◆ Reading notes
Keep the purpose of a book, questions you brought to it, a one-line impression, summary, key takeaways, and how you may apply them. Notes attached to a quote remain with that quote, so your reading does not end as a collection of disconnected fields.

Your Reading notes can also be gathered into a yearly record and exported as a PDF.

◆ Library
Keep Reading, Finished, Paused, and Wishlist books in one Library. Add ratings, 14 genres, moods, tags, quotes, and your own shelves. You can attach a PDF to a book and open it inside the app.

◆ Reading timer
Set a reading goal, start a session, pause when you need to, and keep the screen simple while you read. Time spent reading a paper book with the screen off can remain part of the same session.

◆ Garden
Pages become water for your Garden. Keep reading and flowers grow. The Garden turns accumulated pages into something you can see without turning reading into a competition.

◆ Beyond
Open This week's workbench to return to your reading or meet a different book. Beyond also brings together books not yet yours, helping you find what to read next without mixing them into your Library.

◆ Stats and home screen widgets
See yearly and monthly reading records, genre breakdowns, streaks, and other progress. Home screen widgets can show Quote of the day, Reading now, reading progress, and your shelf.

◆ Learning beyond books
Lectures, documentaries, exhibitions, and other learning that does not belong to a book can be kept in the Learning log alongside your reading days.

◆ Your records, under your control
Your reading records are stored on your device. Book search, cover lookup, and the optional AI features use external services only when you use those functions.

For extra protection, you can turn on Auto Backup. Choose a folder once and Booktelier saves a backup there once a week, keeping the latest 10. You can also export your records whenever you want.

Booktelier has no ads, requires no account, and has no subscription. Core reading, recording, Review, Library, Reading timer, Stats, and Garden features do not require an AI service.

Read quickly or slowly. Stay with one book for months or leave it for a while. Booktelier is a quiet place to keep what reading leaves with you.
