Guía Nutricional en UCI

Educational tool intended for doctors and specialists in intensive care to identify patients at nutritional risk and ensure their energy requirements. It contains reference and training material, organized into chapters and algorithms and integrates a “nutritional macro-calculator” that computes caloric-protein needs, adjusted to the degree of stress and anthropometric measurements, using different predictive equations (Harris-Benedict, Pen-State , Ireton-Jones, Swinamer)
The Metabolism and Nutrition Working Group (GTMN) of the Spanish Society of Intensive Care Medicine has participated in the development of the resources for this guide, under the sponsorship of Vegenat, and it has been endorsed by the Spanish Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition ( SENPE).
