## Description

Raptor ID is the first comprehensive raptor identification app designed specifically for mobile devices. Developed by HawkWatch International with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, it provides expert-level identification tools covering all 34 species of diurnal raptors in North America. The app features nearly 1000 annotated photos illustrating plumage, age, sex, and geographic variations, as well as cutting-edge identification videos showing each species in flight from multiple angles. Along with detailed vocalizations and range maps linked to interactive eBird data, Raptor ID supports both beginners and seasoned birders aiming to improve their hawk identification skills. Additionally, users can participate in an 'Ask the authors' forum to clarify identification queries with experts.

Whether you're new to birding or an experienced hawk watcher, Raptor ID offers an indispensable mobile resource that puts expert knowledge and rich multimedia content in the palm of your hand. Its combination of annotated imagery, behavioral videos, and interactive tools make it an essential app for anyone passionate about raptors and bird identification.
