It works really well no lag the characters do cut out some what when climbing up the side of my phone or even upside down a little,but I think this app should be given a ghost feature so that way you can still have your smimeji's but yet not be forced to move them if you want to do something simple,like for example if you like to have a lot of smimeji's but they block you way to text or something you could just ghost them but still have them on your phone.

It works well and doesn't lag my phone, the only thing is when eevee is climbing on the right side of my phone, it's cut off so you can only see it's ear. Also every character hovers slightly off the bottom of my phone and the top, but these issues may be because of my type of phone being a different size than what was programmed. Either way it works well but 4 stars for the floating issues
