Write a quick note, a to-do list or a reminder from the notification shade. You do not have to open the app. Pull down, type it, pin it.

Slip looks like a real board. Each thought lands on its own post-it — tilted, pinned, taped. Tick one off and the pen rules it out. Finish the last item and the sheet crumples off the wall.

WRITE IT FROM THE SHADE
The slip stays in your notification shade. A grocery list in a shop queue. A name you must not lose. A reminder that arrived on the lock screen. Type "milk, eggs, bread Sunday 6pm" and you get a checklist with the reminder already set.

TO-DO LISTS ON ONE POST-IT
One line is a note. Two or more become a checklist, each with its own box. Strike a line when it is done. Press enter in the app, or use commas from the shade — milk, eggs, coffee.

REMINDERS IN PLAIN LANGUAGE
No date picker if you do not want one. "Gym Wednesday at 6pm" becomes the note "gym" and a reminder for Wednesday. Later today. Tonight. Tomorrow morning. Or tap remind-me-in on the shade, using the default you picked.

A BOARD, NOT A DATABASE
Six looks: linen, cork, slate, sage, blush, ink. Day, night, or follow the phone. Handwriting on the notes, marker on the wall. A notepad you glance at, not a spreadsheet you manage.

WHO IT IS FOR
People who drop thoughts. A sticky note app for errands, a reminder app for the one thing that has to happen, a to-do list that does not ask you to open a project. If you have ever typed a memo into a locked phone and wished it would stay, this is that.

Slip is a quiet capture pad. Pin the thought. Check the list. Let the rest of the board wait. ## Rankings - #1,427,574 — Overall ## Permissions and access ### Permissions - `android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE` - `android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE` - `android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE` - `android.permission.INTERNET` - `android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS` - `android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED` - `android.permission.SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM` - `android.permission.SET_WALLPAPER` - `android.permission.USE_BIOMETRIC` - `android.permission.USE_FINGERPRINT` - `android.permission.VIBRATE` - `android.permission.WAKE_LOCK` - `com.android.vending.BILLING` - `com.android.vending.CHECK_LICENSE` - `com.google.android.providers.gsf.permission.READ_GSERVICES` - `com.polyhistor.slip.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION` ## Similar extensions and apps - [Sticky Notes- Reminders, Lists](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.ranasourav.android.stickynotes) — 2,981 users, 4.80 / 5 - [Just-Notes: Sticky Notes](https://chrome-stats.com/d/app.just_notes) — 45 users - [Note Prompt: Pin Notes & Lists](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.sm.note_prompt) — 21 users - [Sticky Notes & Reminders](https://chrome-stats.com/d/studios.applab.stickynotifications) — 16,434 users, 3.42 / 5 - [Notification Notes & Reminders](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.superappsdev.notificationnotes) — 1,285 users - [Notepad - Notes & Checklists](https://chrome-stats.com/d/tech.licheng.notes) — 11 users - [Sticky Notes](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.aistudio.stickynotes.mkyqtz) — 27 users - [Yattayo: Slider To-Do Board](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.tsuzukit.yattayo) — 202 users - [Sticky Notes – Quick Memo](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.vasapps.stickynotesmemo) — 192 users - [Push Note](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.push_note.app) — 33 users - [Sticky Notes Widget Pro](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.balkrishna.stickynoteswidgetpro) — 35 users - [Notes: Notepad & To-Do Lists](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.notetaking.quicknotes) — 98 users --- Source: [Chrome-Stats](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.polyhistor.slip)
