P.A.N.D.A. is an icon-based mobile application to perform pre and postnatal examinations according to World Health Organization guidelines.
Each visit consists of four steps
- collection of biographical data
- anamnesis in order to find out the woman's medical history;
- screening consists of taking measurements (height, weight, uterine height, blood pressure, temperature) and rapid tests (HIV, syphilis, malaria, glucose, haemoglobin) as well as specific questions about the woman's health condition (foetal movements, infections, fever)
- health education aims to educate women on prevention and how to behave during pregnancy, birth and postnatal care.
