## Description

WillowSpine is a small offline manual for anyone who owns a fishing rod and would like the thing to outlast them. It also happens to tell you where the rod came from in the first place.<br><br>Five benches on the workshop wall<br><br>1. Eras of the rod. Bamboo antiquity through Hiram Leonard&#39;s 1874 hexagonal split cane, post-war Shakespeare fibreglass, Fenwick&#39;s 1974 carbon HMG, and the Osaka-driven Tenkara revival of the 1990s.<br>2. Rod types. Split-cane fly, tenkara, modern carbon fly, spinning, bait-casting multiplier, village cane pole — one card each, with the maker, the water and the reel that goes with it.<br>3. Care &amp; storage. Six routines by cadence: rinse after every trip, wax the ferrules every three or four, inspect guides monthly, loosen ferrules in the off-season, check the wraps twice a year, store the whole thing flat in its tube.<br>4. Memory match. Twelve cards, six pairs, one clock. Match each rod with its maker, era or matching reel. Your best time is saved between sessions.<br>5. About. Sources, offline notes, no-network promise.<br><br>How it fits your day<br><br>Between trips it is a maintenance checklist. Off-season it is a shelf reference. Waiting in a car park with the rod in the boot, it is a quick memory drill.<br><br>Design notes<br><br>Parchment, willow-green and brass palette; Times-serif type; a hand-drawn bamboo-rod cross-section for the launcher. Nothing here needs a network — everything ships in the APK.
