JSACTR

The JSACTR Chrome extension roots from the Ministry of Jal Shakti's nationwide initiative "Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain," launched in 2023. This campaign targets sustainable rainwater conservation efforts across all Indian districts, focusing particularly on 150 water-stressed districts as identified by the Jal Jeevan Mission.

With the theme "Source sustainability for drinking water," the campaign runs from March to November 2023, promoting the construction of Rain Water Harvesting Structures tailored to regional climatic and geological conditions. By actively involving citizens, JSACTR seeks to nurture community participation to catch rain where and when it falls, supporting India's water sustainability goals.
