2025-01-31	Stephanie Ferguson	Typically, we love this app and have experienced little to no issues. Recently, the thermostat schedule is not working correctly. Temps are being auto adjusted at wrong times. I can't find where to check the time of on the app but the actual thermostat shows the correct time. My first thought was, maybe it's not adjusting with daylight savings but everything I've found says that it should auto adjust if connected to wifi. How can you help?
2025-01-29	Brian Fair	Too slow opening, despite being at home on quality WiFi. 2 years later update: no improvement. Running Pixel 6 and local wifi and still the app takes way too long to load. 2025 update (5 years later): app is still too slow to open/load everything. Moved all my cameras over to Unifi and usually just walk to the wall to adjust the temperature instead of watching a page load.
2025-01-22	Jeff Saylor	Okay, after spending an hour trying to get the thing to connect to my phone without the app telling me I need a bluetooth enabled to do so (a year ago I don't know if they fixed it), now the current room temperature on the app is not updating unless you physically change the temperature on the app. I closed and reopened the app twice to make sure it wasn't me. The only way the current temperature reading would update is if I physically change the target temperature on the app. FIX THIS.
2025-01-18	Alan Knepper	Very slow, many times no notification. Keep getting up selling adds when trying to see who's at the door, by the time I get through the add then the person has left. Many times never get doorbell notifications, because the settings keep turning off. Many times I can't select Doorbell notification. frustrating app, will probably switch to Ring. Home/away never worked. Note: I have new Pixel 4a phone, Google WiFi routers only 5 feet away, and 1 GB fiber internet service, so no excuses. Now button
2025-01-16	Alan Chan	Slow app. Scheduling interface does not handle scheduling near the end of the week near midnight well. It's very limited and there isn't any feedback about Nest Aware. Just lots of annoying pop-ups to "subscribe". It's not clear how to manage it well not does the app a plain all the different things you can turn on. It's very barebones. I'm not saying make more button clicks. I'm just saying empower the end user. Make them feel like they're in control.
2025-01-16	Josh Miller	I love the nest app, except 1 MAJOR feature I keep requesting. Hopefully someone will see it. I just want to be able to choose what time a sensor is used rather than only being able to choose "morning" "midday" "evening" and "night". My schedule is different from that, and I just need to switch to a different sensor at 6am instead of 7. PLEASE make this adjustable.
2025-01-16	Angel Gordillo	I do NOT recommend Google cameras at all, especially with Google Nest app. - Video Playback tends to freeze up or not play video at all. Ive had 2 different phones and my Internet speed is 1GB. My girlfriend has the same problem with video playback. You have to restart the app, see or download the clip you're after, before it crashes again. This issue has persisted for 5 years and counting. - "Family Members" have the same level of control as the owner. They can remove the owner.
2025-01-15	Anne Power Donnarumma	I wish there were some way to back up our settings. There have been a couple of times when we've needed to set up the schedule again (had to change it for a house sitter; got new phones and they were deleted) and it would've been nice to be able to restore it from a saved file rather than have to manually put it all back in from memory.
2025-01-15	Babu Vinayagam	The worst app on my phone. I wanted to have all Google products but it never worked. Extremely slow response when I have the fastest product in fiber optic home internet. All other devices work best except Nest. Nest fails during all critical situations. It keeps spinning every time I open it. When someone rings the door bell, I could neither see is out there nor talk. Customers shouldn't be punished for using Nest products.
2025-01-14	paul chahal	1. It gives lots of control. 2. Very fast response. You change temperature, in 10 seconds heat starts. 3. On downvside: setting up schedule is difficult. Users should be able to type in, rather than using difficult to set using slider. 4. Nest should show current temperatures rather than setting temperature.
