| 2025-01-20 |  | | After using this app for a while, it's unreliable. I try to sell some stock and you have to submit the order several times and it won't go through. Try to sell high and there's a good chance by the time you're successful, it will have gone down and your order fails. Stocks that are sold somehow does not equate to accessible money. It's locked away. If you're looking for a good investment app that allows you trade when you want and access your money when you need it, look on. |
| 2025-01-19 |  | | Confusing. I finally found the fees page and the print is to small to comfortablely read and non-expandable. The little that I was able to read was like reading a shifty salesmen's contract. You need to sit down with a calculator and scroll up and down the page to see how much it would cost to trade before you lose your best put windows. |

Tutorials are available to help learn processes, and the interest paid on unused balances is competitive, but it does take a while to learn how to navigate the charts, some of which aren't easy to scroll down on using the phone and Desktop. The desktop version needs improvement. |

I lost all my money, albeit 40 bucks but still. Bad way for things to work. This is why I don't mess with stocks I'm done for good. Tried years ago. Public is better as far as I ever experienced. Not going to it, but that's my experience. Honestly the UI is confusing af. |

Edit: Since this review, I finally got the promotional credit. Except it doesn't work. Even tried depositing more money into the account to trigger the credit so it would work like it's supposed to. It doesn't. Moomoo is a scam plain and simple. I'll keep using USA based financial institutions for investing instead of Chinese scammers. |

In fact, when I initially signed up it was on the internet. Found out AFTER depositing I literally HAD to download this stupid app to even use my money. The cash sweeps program is not automatic after you sign up you apparently have to put your money into the account. I am afraid to do it, as it could lock my money in for longer. Bad! |

Unless you manually enter the price, the app correctly warns you that your price is higher than the last price for a security. Every time I selected "mid", the entered price was higher than the last price, especially after regular trading hours. I previously gave 5 stars and now I am moving my account to another platform, which has "last price" among other options. |

Even AFTER turning off all notifications, alerts, and blocking several phone numbers. If I wanted help getting started I would ask for it. If a person says they want to get a feel for things on the app before taking the plunge that doesnt mean KEEP PESTERING THEM. Uninstalled, good riddance. |
| 2023-08-23 |  | | I have been using Moomoo for multiple months, but there came a point where I removed all but $100 of my capital from the app. Reason being: numerous times my profit-taker order price limit was reached, but the order didn't fill, while simultaneously canceling my stop-loss order. So essentially you're left with no downside protection AND your limit order didn't fill. Aside from order execution issues it is an excellent resource for research, market updates, and learning. Plus free L2 NYSE data. |

Being able to learn the basics of trading and investing through the provided lessons is a good touch. But maybe dumbing it down a little and explaining all the abbreviations and lingo so the average person can catch on a little better. All the different references and how they interact or differ is mind blowing. Maybe some more cash or stock rewards would be nice. Otherwise it's been a good app. Thanks guys! |
