## Description

MobStaff turns a tablet or phone at your workplace into a time clock that still<br>works when the internet does not.<br><br>Staff enter a PIN, the camera takes a verification photo, and the record is<br>queued on the device and uploaded when there is a connection. Nothing on the<br>screen waits for a network reply, so a dropped line at 6am does not stop a shift<br>starting.<br><br>WHAT IT DOES<br><br>• PIN entry with a verification photo at clock-in, clock-out and breaks — each<br>  one switchable by the employer<br>• Paid and unpaid breaks<br>• Today&#39;s roster on the screen: who is on shift, who is on a break, and for how<br>  long<br>• A running clock that reads server time, not the device&#39;s<br>• Honest sync status: it tells you how many records are still waiting rather<br>  than pretending they have been sent<br>• Kiosk mode on Android, so a wall-mounted tablet stays on the clock-in screen<br>• Works as a shared tablet at a door, as several tablets across a site, or as a<br>  personal phone bound to one named worker<br><br>BUILT FOR THE AWKWARD PARTS<br><br>Time comes from the server. Every sync anchors server time against a counter<br>that ticks since the device booted and cannot be set by anyone, so moving the<br>tablet&#39;s clock forward to manufacture overtime does not move the recorded time.<br>The tampered clock travels with the record as evidence.<br><br>Records are queued locally in an encrypted database and uploaded later, so hours<br>without a connection cost nothing. A photo that fails to upload never blocks the<br>attendance record itself.<br><br>Location and workplace WiFi checks are optional, off by default, and read only<br>at the moment of a punch. There is no background location tracking of any kind,<br>and no face recognition: the photo is stored for a human to look at.<br><br>YOU NEED AN EMPLOYER ACCOUNT<br><br>MobStaff is sold to businesses. This app is the worker-facing half and has to be<br>paired to an employer&#39;s MobStaff account with a code from their management<br>panel.
