You can't store an endless supply of equipment โ€“ whenever you find a new item, you must decide whether to equip it or sell it. A new shield might give you more defense, while your old one might offer a better chance to block or resistance to poison. Choose carefully โ€“ a stronger item isn't always the better choice.
