2025-01-28	Cathy DeHaan	My computer came preinstalled with Microsoft Office Pro for which I paid $460. Microsoft no longer allows me to open Word, Outlook, Excel, or any file I've created using these apps, unless I grant them permission to view everything, on all of my devices, even the content that isn't associated with Microsoft whatsoever. This includes personal information and 'secured folder' content. Also includes what I've searched for, sites I've been to, and personal info I have saved in all of my browsers.
2025-01-27	Michael Copeland	If you enjoy the frustration that comes with Microsoft and their obsession with fixing things that aren't broken, taking groundbreaking ideas and finding creative ways to make them average or seem outdated, and combining that with the difficulty of working on a small inconvenient screen, then you're in for a treat with the Word App. It's now possible to forget to save or delete time sensitive documents whilst in a men's room or seem illiterate professionally all from the palm of your hand
2025-01-25	Ayden Bridgeman	One of my files refused to open the other day when all the others worked. Before that happened, it kept crashing before my phone told me Word had a bug and to delete and reinstall it. I did that, and I wasn't able to open that document anymore, but everyone else it was shared to (as editors) can still access it. Still, though, other than that, Word has been useful. I'm able to use Word without data and wifi for the most part, as long as I don't close the document file before I get home to save.
2025-01-21	Dave McLain	Word is the go-to, of course, but the app version is annoying, particularly with the keyboard disappearing frequently without a convenient retrieval. Now the Smart Lookup isn't working. That's making me look for an alternative. Somebody has to get the auto-correct to stop automatically changing its to it's, like it just did here.
2025-01-19	Claire McGregor	Despite purchasing 365 subscription model specifically so my docs would sync between devices, I find they sync maybe 40% of the time. I have the doc open on my computer and it's been extensively edited, my computer says it's been saved and uploaded to the cloud, and on my phone I am being shown the document from a month ago. Threw my money away for this. And now, to add insult to injury, it's added copilot to the app. I can't find the setting to turn it off, and it keeps popping up.
2025-01-18	Hunter Sarutobi	Bad, just terrible, I was hoping this would be the ship to jump to after the maddening change of Google Docs changing their quotation marks from straight to curly to slanted and enforcing it with auto-correct. Moving text position is slow, copying a Doc to Word and editing it is driving me crazy, it added paragraph breaks randomly, and I have to backspace five times for a one (1) line break to restore a butchered paragraph to it's wall of text glory.
2025-01-17	Rebecca S.	I wish I could rate this 0 stars. I have to use Word on my computer for school. I have autosave on, manually saved a document, yet when I came back to it a day later, half of it is gone. HOURS of studying and writing down the drain. None of the recovery options are working. Frustrating. For a multibillion dollar company, they should be able to do better.
2025-01-17	Jessica O	it's incredibly frustrating to have copilot pop up in the mobile app with no clear way to turn it off despite having already turned it off in desktop settings. This newest update made it functionally useless for me since I have no interest in using copilot and I can't trust that my desktop settings actually transfer to the mobile app. Deleted the entire app and won't be using it again.
2025-01-05	Kaye	I believe everything from Microsoft is great. This is my "go to" app for all of my writing needs. It has templates you can use or the choice of creating your own design. You can choose from a large variety of fonts, font colors, background colors, formats, styles and more. It automatically saves everything for you. You can share individual or group items also. As an aspiring writer/poet I use this daily and highly recommend it.
2025-01-03	Hope Long	I only use Microsoft Word because it is required at my school. The app is awful to use, settings are complicated for no reason, you can't clear the cache on the app, etc. I cleared it through my phone settings trying to access my recent documents, which does nothing. So far it has been impossible to access my documents, even though it says it has synced today. The most recent documents I can access are from several months ago. If I have a choice I never use Microsoft as it is entirely unreliable
