Metrc Inspect

Every plant and product accounted for in Metrc’s system is traceable to a patented Metrc-engineered radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag. The radio-frequency energy from the handheld reader energizes the passive RFID tags. Once activated, the tag transmits its unique tag ID, product coding, and other essential data to the reader. The rapid communication between the tag and the reader allows hundreds of tags to be scanned over a short period of time. The Metrc Inspect application helps facilitate data capture, audits, and inspections.
