## Description

The SRF Foundation, formerly known as the “Society for Education and Welfare” was setup in 1982 as Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) arm of SRF Ltd., which is a leading multi-business entity engaged in textiles, chemicals, packaging films, and engineering plastics. SRF Foundation is working to bring a smile on the faces of some of the most vulnerable members of society through high-impact interventions in Education, Vocational Skills & Livelihood and Natural Resource Management. To do the same contextual design and development of M&E systems is essential to track progress, ensure evidence-based decision-making, and demonstrate the results of a program.  M&E system not only provides essential data for monitoring the services delivered, but also helps in guiding the planning, coordination, and implementation processes of a program and identifying areas for development, and chances to attain the project objectives & GOAL on time. Against this backdrop, SRF Foundation has developed a tailor-made web and Android mobile-based M&E system for various programs running at different locations across India.  Location-specific data collection is crucial, and an Android-based mobile application serves the purpose of collecting field-related data. The objective is to make available app with an auto-update features from Google Play Store to SRF Foundation’s staff dedicatedly engaged in different locations of India to collect program-related data from the field. The purpose is to serve the most vulnerable members of society more systematically without any business perspective in mind.
