## Description

Local Elves brings you the shops already around you — the water station<br>down the street, the laundry shop on the corner, the kitchen you have<br>been ordering from for years — and lets you order from them without<br>leaving the house.<br><br>No middleman warehouse, no far-away branch. You order from a local shop,<br>and the shop&#39;s own riders bring it to you.<br><br>WHAT YOU CAN ORDER<br>• Water — refills and new containers from your neighbourhood water station<br>• Laundry — wash, dry and fold, picked up from you and returned to you<br>• Food — meals from kitchens and restaurants near you<br>The shops you see are the ones close enough to actually serve you, so<br>what is available depends on who has joined in your area.<br><br>HOW IT WORKS<br>1. Browse the shops near you and see what they offer, with their prices.<br>2. Place your order and choose where it goes. You&#39;ll see the delivery<br>   fee for your address before you confirm.<br>3. Follow the order through each stage — confirmed, on the way,<br>   delivered — and see which rider is handling it.<br>4. Pay the shop directly, either cash on delivery or by scanning their<br>   QR with GCash, Maya or your banking app.<br><br>YOU PAY THE SHOP, NOT US<br>This is worth being clear about: Local Elves never handles your money.<br>There is no wallet to top up and no balance to maintain. Every payment<br>goes straight from you to the shop, and every peso you pay is theirs.<br>When a shop takes QR payments, we check who that QR actually pays before<br>it ever reaches you, and show you the payee&#39;s name beside it. If the name<br>in your payment app doesn&#39;t match, don&#39;t pay — tell us instead.<br><br>LAUNDRY IS PRICED HONESTLY<br>Laundry is charged by weight, and nobody knows the weight until it is<br>weighed. So you see an estimate when you order, and the shop sets the<br>real price once your load is on the scale. If it comes out meaningfully<br>higher than estimated, it needs your approval before any work continues.<br>No surprises when it comes back.<br><br>TALK TO THE SHOP<br>Every order has its own chat. Send a gate code, ask for extra sauce,<br>check whether they have your size of container — it all stays on the<br>order, so nothing gets lost in a separate thread.<br>If something does go wrong, you can raise it on the order itself. The<br>shop is asked to put it right, and if it stays unresolved our team steps<br>in to help.<br><br>ALSO IN THE APP<br>• Save your addresses, with a map pin so riders find you the first time<br>• Notifications when your order is accepted, on its way and delivered<br>• Your full order history, with what you paid and to whom<br>• Reorder from shops you already use, without hunting for them again<br><br>BEFORE YOU START<br>You&#39;ll need an account with a verified email to order — it&#39;s how we make<br>sure order updates and payment details reach you and not someone else.<br>Local Elves is new, and we are rolling out neighbourhood by neighbourhood<br>across the Philippines. If there are no shops near you yet, there may be<br>soon.<br><br>RUN A SHOP?<br>If you own a water station, laundry shop or kitchen and want to take<br>orders here, you can sign your shop up at localelves.ph — you keep your<br>own riders, and customers pay you directly.
