## Review summary

Lasting is praised for helping couples communicate and gain relationship insight, often strengthening connections when it functions. However, multiple reviews highlight recurring problems: unexpected charges and difficulty canceling, data/privacy concerns (lost notes and old notes exposure), Android/login issues and cross-device problems, and confusing pricing/paid features. These reliability and billing challenges frequently overshadow the app’s potential benefits for many users.

### Pros

- Facilitates difficult conversations and quality time with a partner.
- Provides insight and practical knowledge to improve the relationship.
- Helps explore topics and understand root problems, with suggestions for adjustment.
- Improves communication and empathy between partners.
- Overall positive impact on the relationship when it works.

### Cons

- Billing and cancellation problems, including unauthorized charges and ongoing charges after cancellation.
- Data loss and privacy concerns, such as notes disappearing and old responses from a former partner being visible.
- Android compatibility and login/authentication issues (can't log in, errors, cross-device problems).
- Content/UX and pricing concerns, including too many paid features and confusing free trial terms.
- Cross-profile subscription syncing issues and unclear billing across accounts.
