• Calls are simulated on your phone's real call screen — they look genuine
• Calls ring with your device's ringtone — or the custom one assigned to that contact
• Every simulated call leaves an entry in your phone's call log
• Calls you don't answer show up as regular missed-call notifications
• With Do Not Disturb active, the call arrives silently as a standard notification

Need a polite way out of a meeting that won't end, an awkward date, or a conversation you'd rather escape? Self Call makes your phone ring with a realistic incoming call — at exactly the moment you choose.

⏰ SCHEDULE IT YOUR WAY

• Ring now — one tap for an instant call
• Quick intervals — 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes… (fully customizable)
• Exact date & time — plan your exit in advance
• Line up several calls at once — each one fires at its own time
• Calls fire reliably even when the app is closed

📳 PREPARED CALL — TRIGGER IT WITHOUT OPENING THE APP

• Prepare a call in advance — caller, ring settings, audio message and a delay of your choice
• Arm it from a Quick Settings tile, then press the power button 3 times quickly to trigger it
• The call rings after your chosen delay — by then the phone can be back in your pocket
• Works even with the app closed; disarm anytime from the tile or its notification

👤 ANY NAME, ANY NUMBER — OR A REAL CONTACT

• Create caller profiles with any name and number
• Or leave the number empty for a "Private number" call — your phone shows its own withheld-number label, on the call screen and in the log
• Or pick straight from your device contacts — Android even shows their real contact photo on the call screen
• Mark favorites for one-tap access when scheduling

🎙️ HEAR A VOICE WHEN YOU ANSWER

• Attach an audio message — record one or pick an audio file — and hear a "voice" through the earpiece when you answer, like a real caller
• The screen turns off at your ear during an answered call — exactly like a real one
• Per-call ring mode: sound, vibrate only, or silent — even if your ringer is on it never gets louder than your own settings
• Set how long each call rings before it ends as a missed call

🔒 NO SIM INTERACTION, NO ACCOUNT, NO ADS, NO TRACKING

• Never places or receives real calls — no interaction with your SIM, carrier, or billing.
• No server, no account, no sign-up
• No ads, no analytics, no trackers, no data collection of any kind
• Everything stays on your device; uninstalling removes it all

💎 LIMITED FREE VERSION — PAY ONCE FOR EVERYTHING, NO SUBSCRIPTION

• Free version: instant calls, quick scheduling, custom callers and recorded audio messages cost nothing
• A single one-time purchase unlocks the full app: exact date & time, several queued calls, audio files, unlimited callers, contact picker and full ring control

💡 GOOD TO KNOW

• One-time setup: enable Self Call as a calling account (the app guides you). Don't select it under "Make calls with" — it can't make real calls.
• Each permission unlocks one visible feature and is explained in the app — contacts, microphone and audio access are all optional
• Light and dark theme, launcher shortcuts for instant scheduling

Self Call is made for personal use: a graceful exit, a safety check-in excuse, testing your ringtone volume, or demoing Android's call screen. Please use it responsibly — it's your phone, calling you. ## Rankings - #979,916 — Overall ## Permissions and access ### Permissions - `android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE` - `android.permission.ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY` - `android.permission.BIND_TELECOM_CONNECTION_SERVICE` - `android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE` - `android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_PHONE_CALL` - `android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE` - `android.permission.INTERNET` - `android.permission.MANAGE_OWN_CALLS` - `android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS` - `android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS` - `android.permission.READ_CONTACTS` - `android.permission.READ_MEDIA_AUDIO` - `android.permission.READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED` - `android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED` - `android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO` - `android.permission.SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM` - `android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW` - `android.permission.USE_EXACT_ALARM` - `android.permission.USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT` - `android.permission.VIBRATE` - `android.permission.WAKE_LOCK` - `android.permission.WRITE_CONTACTS` - `android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE` - `com.android.vending.BILLING` - `com.google.android.finsky.permission.BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE` - `com.lalstef.SelfCall.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION` ## Similar extensions and apps - [Fake Call](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.toolnplay.fakecall) — 1,164 users - [Fake Incoming Call Simulator](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.cowcona.adfakecall) — 4,096 users - [Fake Incoming Call - Prank](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.dksequence.fakecall) — 248 users - [Fake Call Pro - Call Simulator](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.hamsterdragon.fakecallpro) — 160 users - [Fake Incoming Call Prank](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.jackassapps.fakecall.fakecallreceiver) — 20,590 users, 3.00 / 5 - [Fake Call Escape-Incoming Call](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.brosister.fake_call_simulator) — 508 users - [Fake Call - Calling Simulator](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.just4funtools.fakecallpro.incomingcallsimulator) — 1,327,974 users, 4.38 / 5 - [Fake Call Prank: Excuse](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.wishers.fakecall) — 3,644 users - [Fake Call: CallTimer](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.calltimer.app) — 1,943 users - [Fake Call: Prank Video Call](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.dreamtech.fakevideocall.prank) — 3,256 users - [Fake Call – Prank Call Dialer](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.umerlabs.fakecall) — 751 users - [Call Me](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.callme.app) — 1,221 users --- Source: [Chrome-Stats](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.lalstef.SelfCall)
