The official app “Châteaux de la Drôme” is a tour tool to discover the three castles of Grignan, Suze-la-Rousse and Montélimar. Once downloaded, select the content of your choice. It is completely free and can be used without an internet connection.<br> <br>The app is a support for your visit and offers :<br>- historical landmarks<br>- a route presenting the main points of interest<br>- a map <br>- a panorama (Grignan and Montélimar)<br>- practical information<br><br>Look at this app before, during and after your visit !<br> <br>About the castles : <br>Did you know that Marquise de Sévigné was familiar with Grignan’s Royal Palace and its breathtaking panorama, for she stayed there several times? Head to Montélimar’s unique citadel, a few steps away from the city center: history will revive your inner child as it unveils one of Provence’s most prestigious lineage. How about a stop by the medieval fortress of Suze-la-Rousse, turned into a Lord’s residence – the castle’s beautiful park awaits – a perfect place to breathe. <br><br>All three castles are open all year long to individual or group tours (2 to 222 visitors!). We also offer tailor-made experiences or private visits with specific themes: “sense and taste”, “history and culture” or “off the beaten track”.
