Zendoku - Puzzle Block Game

There's relaxing, and then there's putting you to sleep through tedium. this game works better than melatonin. I loved Tetris growing up, but this game is unfortunately pretty boring. The block generating algorithm gives you mostly the same 4-5 block straight pieces over and over and over, with the occasional square block to surprise you. the Zen/relax concept means the game also throws you "get out of jail free" blocks when you get in trouble. the challenge in this game is lacking

I thought this was going to have actual puzzles instead of just being another brick placing game. instead I thought there was going to be actual puzzles where you had to place the pieces carefully to remove excess stuff from the board

I'd like this game more if it didn't feel so fake. If you play it long enough you'll notice that every once and awhile it will give you 3 pieces to perfectly fill 3 rows/columns. And its always 3 rows/columns! If the game tracks the board and decides to give me pieces based on the board, then why am I even playing this game? It feels like a slot machine that just barely gives you enough to keep going.
