Tap to count, and every japa you complete is written onto your own sacred sheet in Devanagari, so your practice leaves something behind instead of just a number.
A physical mala is not always in your hand. This one travels in your pocket, and your count is saved the moment you make it, so you can stop mid-round and return to exactly where you were.

THE COUNTER
- Tap to count. The mantra sits in the centre of the screen while you chant it.
- Counts to 108 and adds a completed mala, with a row of rudraksh beads filling as you go.
- See at a glance how many japs remain and how many rudraksh are left in the round.
- Reset the round from the header without losing your total.

YOUR SACRED SHEET
Traditional practice includes mantra lekhan, the writing of a mantra by hand. Japa Counter keeps that alongside the counting. Each japa you complete is written onto a parchment canvas in Devanagari, headed with the mantra name and its tradition and closed with the shanti path. Scroll the sheet to read every line you have written, then share it or download it as an image to keep.

Set an interval in seconds or minutes and let the app count for you, so you can chant with your eyes closed, hands still, or while walking. Start and stop it whenever you like.

HEAR THE MANTRA
Turn on Speak on each japa and the app will pronounce the selected mantra on every count, which helps when you are learning a mantra or want to keep an even rhythm.
