## Description

IPAM seeks to encourage decision-making informed by monitoring data from protected areas and the use of data and information to support the territorial and environmental management of these territories, in addition to actions to mitigate and adapt to climate change.<br><br>To this end, SOMUC (Conservation Unit Observation and Monitoring System) was developed, a digital platform, with free public access, created by IPAM in collaboration with ICMBio (Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation) and Woodwell Climate Research Center, with the support of the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and USAID (United States Agency for International Development), which provides data and indicators on vulnerabilities and opportunities for federal and state conservation units in the Amazon.<br><br>Version 1.0 is the first version of a product or software. It is common that in this version there are still some errors or bugs that need to be fixed. Therefore, it is important that users report any problems encountered so that they can be corrected in future versions.<br><br>Based on the feedback received, it is possible to make improvements and launch new, more complete and improved versions.<br><br>Although version 1.0 may be less complete than later versions, it is important to remember that it is essential to developing a quality product. Without it, it would not be possible to test acceptance and make necessary improvements to meet user needs.
