2025-01-24 | App is very, very slow to sync which is really, really frustrating. Sometimes it appears to be finished syncing but then I try changing the watch face and it won't let me. The constant notification to keep the app open is really invasive for me, and there no way to shut it off. Other than those frustrations, it has everything I am looking for in a fitness tracker.
2025-01-22 | Buggy and hard to configure. I have had these bip watches for years now and this new version of the app really doesn't work correctly. I can't get notifications to work half the time. I have been trying for weeks to figure out what is happening. The settings that are offered in the app do not do what they are titled. Not sure if it is a translation problem or it it is just a badly written app but this app doesn't work right and i can't use the watch with anything else. Makes the watch useless.
2025-01-21 | It's a good app, but in the app and watch, you can't edit your workout; for example, in swimming, if you want just kicking, you can't save the distance of your exercise; this is so important for swimmers! I hope developers pay attention to that topic. For several years, users wanted this, but the developer wouldn't do it.
2025-01-21 | Mixed feelings. It thinks I'm sleeping when I'm watching TV at night. Not sure why you have to sit thru the animation every single time you open the app. The store for watch faces is painful to use - there's no way to sort or filter them. But there's plenty of data in the app and it's fairly straightforward to use / learn.
2025-01-21 | The device (Helio ring) linked to the app is okay as a sleep tracker but would not recommend as an activity tracker. It can't seem to auto detect activities starting and the app only allows you to "start" a few simple activities - and lacks something like "cardio" as a general catch all. Options are running, walking, cycling, or treadmill. Though the AI agent claims there are other options, but none of the methods it provides for logging an event or starting a different one exist in the app.
2025-01-17 | The big thing I'd like to see updated is to be able to edit the workout afterwards if you forget to end the workout in order to cut off that time you were not working out and just forgot to push the stop button. I hate messing up my workout data and not being able to fix it. I sometimes forget to turn it off for hours.
2025-01-17 | This was a good band but now it sucks. It seems to download calendar data months in advance. So if you cancel an event or a recurring one, it will still show up on your band. Turning off calendar notifications doesn't stop it. So be prepared to get phantom event warning or notifications.
2025-01-14 | One of the best fitness watch trackers I've had. The watch tracks steps, sleep, physical output, even reps in the gym! And now they added food tracking! Only suggestion to the food tracking is that I need to be able to create and store recipes. If I make a meal and meal prep 6 servings to have during the week I need to be able to select the recipe and serving size and move on. I'm not going to remember all the ingredients throughout the week.
2025-01-11 | The only reason I give it 1 star is because I feel that it's extremely intrusive. Every time I open the app, a massive message comes up telling me to authorize notifications and the ability to view my photos. NO, I will not allow this. There is no need. But multiple pop ups one after another that block the screen. Why not just ask and accept my answer??? Multiple pop ups every time I open!!! Garbage app.
2025-01-07 | Update: as of 1/2/25 the app stop syncing the steps, sleep and exertion making the app useless if you want to track your historical data... workouts continue to sync fine. Overall is a good app, but the sleep tracker isn't always accurate. The steps track pretty well but from time to time the app shows a crazy amount of steps and even when you sync to watch the amount of steps doesn't update so total steps is way off when this happens...I had this happened several times |
