## Description

CatchRect is a minimalist arcade game built on one simple idea: a paddle, a stream of falling squares, and your reflexes.<br><br>Squares rain down from the top of the screen. Slide your paddle — drag anywhere, or use the arrow keys / A and D — to catch the good ones and dodge the rest. You start with three lives; lose them all and it&#39;s game over. The catch? The higher you climb, the faster they fall.<br><br>WHAT TO CATCH<br>⬜ White — +1 point, the backbone of your score<br>🟩 Green — an extra life<br>🟦 Shield — blocks red hits for a few seconds<br>🟪 Slow Motion — slows every falling square for a few seconds<br><br>WHAT TO DODGE<br>🟥 Red — costs a life, and some fall fast<br>🟧 Platform Slow — your paddle turns sluggish<br>🔀 Invert Controls — left becomes right<br><br>BUILD YOUR COMBO<br>Catch white squares back-to-back to raise your multiplier:<br>• 5 in a row → x2<br>• 10 in a row → x3<br>• 20 in a row → x5<br>Catch a red square or let a white one slip past, and the streak resets to zero.<br><br>IT ONLY GETS HARDER<br>The more points you score, the faster squares fall, the more often they spawn, and the more your paddle shrinks. Every run is a fresh test of how long you can hold on.<br><br>AFTER EVERY RUN<br>See exactly how you did — survival time, whites caught, best combo, lives gained, and hits your shield absorbed — then submit your best score to the online leaderboard and see where you stand.<br><br>BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY<br>Clean, minimalist visuals. A pure-black mode for OLED screens. Pick it up, play a round, put it down.<br><br>How long can you survive?
