## Description

The AMAP Safe project for Palermo provides prompt reporting of flood risks on city roads. It detects even small water accumulations near sensors and, when alarm thresholds are met, immediately alerts drivers by flashing lights and notifies the traffic management authorities. The AMAP Safe app delivers alerts to consenting users’ smartphones.

Citizens using the app can read water levels for each sensor, view any critical issues reported by the system, and watch photos updated every 5 minutes (15 minutes when there is no rain).
