Founded in Ankara in 1992, Hedef Press Publishing and Film Production Inc. began broadcasting as Hedef Radio in 1993. Believing in the power of communication, Hedef Radio, with its multi-voiced broadcasting approach, has brought together not only music but also social, cultural, and societal issues with its listeners.

With its live-focused programming, strong technical infrastructure, and expert programmers, Hedef Radio reaches a wide audience; it has integrated with the community through competitions, social responsibility projects, and support for civil society organizations. This approach earned it the "Local Radio of the Year" award in 2004.
