Airrabona

With the Airrabona app, you can track the air quality of Győr in real time and get personalized insights into your own exposure.

Key features:

▸ 24-hour Air Quality Index (AQI)
The app calculates your personal 24-hour AQI value based on the routes you follow. With the help of a six-level color scale (Good, Moderate, Unhealthy for sensitive people, Unhealthy, Very unhealthy, Hazardous), you can immediately see what kind of air you have breathed during the day.

▸ Route tracking
Start tracking and the app records your movements in the background. Based on GPS data, it calculates what air quality areas you have visited. The data is stored locally and automatically synchronized when you have an internet connection.

▸ Weekly reports
You will receive a summary report of your personal air quality exposure every week. The report includes the average AQI value, as well as PM2.5, PM10, CO2, NOx and TVOC data.

▸ Sensor data
Browse real-time data from Győr air quality sensors: temperature, humidity, PM2.5, PM10, PM1.0, CO2, NOx index, TVOC and more.

▸ Notifications
Receive push notifications and emails about weekly reports, as well as instant alerts if air quality deteriorates in your area.

▸ Educational materials
You can directly access Moodle learning materials about environmental protection and sustainable living from the app.

Airrabona is part of the Green Transport Challenge (GTC) project of Széchenyi István University. The application was created to monitor the air quality of the Győr university campus and its surroundings and to create an environmentally conscious attitude.
