## Description

**Sky Map** turns your Android phone into a window on the night sky. Identify stars, planets, nebulae, and constellations in real time using an interactive astronomy map and optional through-camera mode.

Originally developed as Google Sky Map, the app is now open source. Sky Map requires no mandatory permissions: location, camera, and notifications are optional and requested only when needed. Enter a location manually, explore the sky privately on your device, and receive optional alerts about meteor showers and tonight’s sky.
