User reviews
Retro Game Emulator is praised for its broad support of retro games, smooth performance, offline capability, and ad-free user-friendly interface. However, several users report issues with bugs affecting sound and saved game loading, lack of multi-player and enhanced features like cheat codes and fast-forward, and difficulties in importing and managing game files. Despite these cons, it remains a solid choice for nostalgic gaming enthusiasts.
Pros
- Supports playing a variety of retro games including Gameboy, Sega Genesis, NES, and arcade systems.
- Offline play capability allowing gaming without internet connection.
- Simple and user-friendly interface with nice design and UI.
- Free to use without ads, making it accessible and enjoyable.
- Good performance with smooth graphics and minimal lag.
Cons
- Some users experience bugs with sound and save/load functionalities, including crashes when loading saved games.
- Limited features such as inability to play two-player games or import games from folders easily.
- Fast-forward feature and cheat code support are missing or not working properly.
- Confusion about how to download/import games; app requires users to source their own game files.
- Limited game insertion options, such as only being able to select one game at a time.

Its actually a pretty good app. "But it has no games" you have to download it on ur own. "Waste of time" You just don't know how to set it up. This app works perfectly fine for me but i rate it 4/5 cause sometimea the sounds is bugging and i hope you add more themes. That's all !!
