Features & Capabilities

Motivation: The cheapest energy is the energy that isn't used!

Eco-driving aims to reduce fuel consumption, pollutant and CO2 emissions, while maintaining a safe and comfortable driving experience.

It is part of a sustainable development approach and contributes directly to environmental protection. It also allows you to put less strain on your vehicle and thus preserve it.

Gaspaar is an educational app that provides guidance for more economical driving. It analyzes your navigation data to anticipate situations where you are speeding and consuming excessive energy; visual and audible signals inform you in real time when you need to stop accelerating.

Two operating modes are available:

- Autonomous mode: Eco-driving tips are offered once you have completed a route at least once. All data is stored on your phone; no data is transmitted.

- Connected mode: This mode allows users to share navigation data. Eco-driving tips are available once a route has been completed at least once by a Gaspaar community user. (See the "Privacy policy" section.)

The information provided by the application does not replace legislation, traffic laws, safety regulations, or best driving practices. In situations you deem appropriate, it can provide additional educational information to help you practice eco-driving.
