## Description

MoodDots is a calm way to keep track of how your days feel. Once a day you answer one question, "How did today feel?", with a single tap: bright, level, or heavy. The day becomes one dot in your month, and over time the dots fill into an honest picture of your emotional weather, the bright stretches and the heavy ones alike.

There is no score and no streak. That is the whole idea. Most mood apps hang everything on scales and averages, and a week of low numbers reads back as a verdict. In MoodDots a feeling is a dot, not a grade. Bright days glow softly in warm amber, heavy days recede into quiet texture, and no single day can break anything.

How it works

One tap a day. The Mood journal is ready the moment you finish the two-page intro; your first check-in is one tap away.
Three honest answers. Bright, level, or heavy. Every one of them is a legitimate answer, and a heavy day counts too.
The month is the point. Watch its shape fill in; there is nothing to reset.
Change any day. Tap any dot to inspect or edit it, add tags for what came with the day (sleep, work, people, health, money, weather) or a short private note.
The month in words. Read back the days that carried a note or a tag, each with its own dot, and tap through to the day itself. Your words are yours to re-read, so this is free.
The parts of a life. Add journals for Work, Home, Love, or anything you name, and see side by side where the weather is coming from. Arrange them in whatever order suits you.
A quiet minute. When a moment is hard, a slow breathing dot for as long as you want it. Nothing is recorded and nothing is asked of you.
Read at a glance. Each answer has its own shape as well as its own color, so the three are easy to tell apart in any light.
Keep it safe. Save your whole journal to a single backup file you keep wherever you choose, and restore it on a new phone.
Free, with an optional one-time upgrade The free version covers up to two journals with the full month grid, all three answers, tags and private notes, tap-to-edit on any day, the month read back in words, a quiet minute when you need one, arranging your journals as you like, a daily reminder, backup and restore, and light and dark themes.

MoodDots Plus is an optional one-time purchase. No subscription, nothing expires. It adds unlimited journals, a year view that shows a whole year as one quiet mosaic, Patterns (how your days split, and what tended to come with the heavy days and the bright ones, shown as plain counts), and a calm accent color for each journal. Plus sells what the app works out across months. It never sells access to what you wrote.

Private by design

No account, no sign-up
Everything stays on your device, including your notes
No ads, no tracking, no data collection
Nothing you write is ever analyzed or interpreted
Automatic Android backup is turned off, so your journals are never copied to Google Drive
Works offline. The app makes no network calls of its own. The only network use is Google Play handling the optional purchase.
Please note: MoodDots is a private journal to help you see your own honest picture. It is not therapy or a medical service and does not provide advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If the heavy days are winning, a real person can help.
