| 2024-12-16 |  | | I used to have a virustotal app on my old phone where I could open and scan websites for any malicious content. This version is just searching my new phone. It would be nice if the search bar could open scope to search the website, similar to the previous version that VirusTotal had. |
| 2024-11-23 |  | | Great app if it wasn't either hijacked upon download or purposely scripted as backdoor malware. My suggestion is to avoid it. My device is now infected . Remotely via shell . Read carefully through all permissions even though they report back clean many are not "clean " rather open spread eagle for invitation to the host. Which I allege is malicious . . However anyone with a few dozen synapses can clearly see the results of infection by or through this app . Rather designed as such or hijacked. |

Thought I got ahead of the game & maybe had a solution but things started becoming all too familiar again with the signs & symptoms. 1 of my antivirus could pick up anything My firewall was acting funny VPN not staying connected etc so upon other research I ran across an article talking about Virus Total Mobile & getting a package name app. I did that & got the malicious apps names, keyloggers, trackers /geo locators Thank you I'm grateful |

| 2024-09-07 |  | | Doesn't offer real time protection but as far as detecting malware apps already on your phone, I don't think anything else does a better job. I had a banking malware on my last phone and scanned with well over 10 popular anti spyware apps, this is the only one that found it. |

The app upload feature always had an issue though that if the upload did not complete the only way to complete it was to delete the app data or reinstall. Now since last update I am not sure whether it can upload at all since it does not show the progress notification. If I try to turn on notifications from settings it stubbornly turns them off again. For some reason notifications treats this as a "system app" now. Please address these issues. |
