## Description

Freedive Finder is a community platform for freedivers to discover<br>dive sites, organise sessions, and connect with buddies at a<br>compatible level. Built by freedivers who were tired of scrolling<br>through 6 different WhatsApp groups to find a training partner.<br><br>Discover dive sites<br>The map is community-built. Browse sites with real photos, depth<br>notes, access information, and conditions. Add the sites you know so<br>others can find them too.<br><br>Organise dives<br>Create training sessions, fun dives, or snorkel trips at any site.<br>Invite dive buddies, coordinate in the session chat, and see who has<br>confirmed before you head to the water.<br><br>Match with buddies at your level<br>Profiles support the major certification paths: AIDA, SSI, PADI,<br>Molchanovs, and FII. Send and accept dive buddy requests so you<br>train with people whose experience fits the dive. You only receive<br>invitations from people you have mutually accepted.<br><br>Keep a dive log<br>Record completed dives with depth, duration, water temperature, and<br>visibility. Attach photos against each entry. Your dive metrics stay<br>on your device unless you choose to sync.<br><br>Privacy first<br>Your precise location stays on your device and is never broadcast to<br>other users or stored on our servers. Profile visibility, location<br>sharing, and invitation permissions are all under your control.<br><br>Safety<br>Freedive Finder is restricted to users 18 and over. Freediving carries<br>inherent risks including shallow-water blackout and hypoxia. The app<br>is a planning and community tool. It does not replace proper training,<br>certification, or a qualified dive buddy.<br><br>Who it is for<br>Freedivers at every level, from people just looking to snorkel, competitive athletes scouting training locations to recreational divers looking for a session this weekend.
