## Description

The mobile application records fishing events and catches in the state of Vorarlberg.<br><br>The app supports fishermen in recording data and offers easier handling. The aim is to reduce the risk of errors. It also offers immediate analysis of personal fishing events.<br><br>Similar to the current statistics booklet, the following parameters are recorded:<br><br>- Date and duration of the activity<br>- Waters fished<br>- Fish species caught<br>- Size of the fish<br>- Reason for releasing fish<br>- Empty catches<br><br>Empty catches as well as the date and duration of the activity are automatically recorded using a so-called start/stop function. This function will enable the CPUE (Catch per Unit Effort) to be calculated in more detail and thus more meaningfully in the future. Fishermen can also specify the size of the fish and the bait used. Personal fishing activities are presented in individual catch statistics (e.g., number of fish, waters fished, or success rate, etc.).
