The CLAIRE application is a powerful tool designed to help users decipher and understand the ingredients found in cosmetic products. With a comprehensive database of over 25,000 ingredients, CLAIRE provides detailed information including the common name, origin, and function of each ingredient.

Users can analyze ingredient lists in two ways: by scanning the "INGREDIENTS" list on product packaging using character recognition technology or by manually searching for an ingredient by name. Unlike other apps that rely on product barcodes, CLAIRE's approach ensures more accurate and reliable identification of ingredients.

The app offers scientifically accurate, up-to-date data, including information about controversial ingredients, enabling users to make informed, transparent decisions about their cosmetic products. Developed collaboratively by the Federation of Beauty Companies (FEBEA) and the French Society of Cosmetology (SFC), CLAIRE stands out as a trustworthy and educational resource for cosmetic ingredient analysis.
