## Description

Values Card Sort helps you find out what actually matters to you — not what you think should matter, and not what anyone else expects.

You sort 83 value cards into three piles: Very Important, Important, Not Important. Then you narrow those down to ten, then to five, then put those five in order. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes of honest reflection.

The last step is the one people remember. For each of your top five, you write what living that value looks like in your daily life right now, and choose one small, doable action for the week ahead. Values are directions, not destinations — they matter most when they guide small everyday choices.

WHAT YOU GET

• All 83 cards from the Personal Values Card Sort, a well-established public domain deck
• Add your own values if something is missing from the deck
• Review your piles at any time and move cards if you change your mind
• A written record of every sort, so you can see how your values shift over time
• A comparison of your last two sorts, showing what moved in and what dropped out
• Export any result as a PDF, or share it as plain text
• An optional check-in reminder one week later
• Optional Google Drive sync, so your sorts reach your other devices and survive a lost phone
• Save a backup file you keep, and restore it on a new phone

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Everything stays on your device by default. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. Nothing you write is sent to us — we run no server that could receive it.

Two things are yours to switch on if you want them. Google Drive sync keeps your sorts in a private folder inside your own Google Drive, so they appear on your other devices and survive a lost phone; that folder is yours, and we cannot see inside it. Or save a backup file yourself, wherever you choose, and restore it on a new phone later.

Leave both off and nothing ever leaves the phone. That is how the app ships, and in that case a new phone does start empty — so export anything you want to keep as a PDF.

You can lock the app behind your screen lock, so your reflections stay private even if someone else picks up your phone.

FULLY BILINGUAL

Available in English and Latin American Spanish, and you can switch at any time — including for sorts you have already completed, which re-read in the new language while your own notes stay in the words you wrote them in.

BUILT TO BE USED BY EVERYONE

Full TalkBack support, including the card sort itself, which offers each pile as a spoken action rather than requiring a drag. Tested at the largest accessibility font size in both languages.

ABOUT THE DECK

Personal Values Card Sort — W.R. Miller, J. C'de Baca, D.B. Matthews and P.L. Wilbourne, University of New Mexico (2001). Public domain.

This app is a tool for personal reflection. It is not therapy, and it is not a substitute for professional support.
