Echo Valley

Welcome to Echo Valley, a minimalist endless runner built as a calm yet focused experience. The game takes place in a wide mountain valley shaped by cliffs, waterfalls, and soft drifting fog. Distant echoes of the mountains create a sense of depth and motion, while the environment remains intentionally uncluttered to keep attention on gameplay.

At the center of the experience is a traveler who runs forward without stopping. The player controls jumps to overcome obstacles such as stones and fallen logs placed along the path. Movement is continuous, and every successful jump allows the journey to continue deeper into the valley. Precision and timing are the core skills required to progress.

The character has three lives. Each collision with an obstacle costs one life, and the run ends when all lives are lost. The result of every run is measured in meters traveled. These meters are recorded and added to the records system, encouraging players to improve consistency and go further with each attempt.

The design philosophy of Echo Valley focuses on clarity and predictability. Obstacles are readable, controls are straightforward, and feedback is immediate. There are no distractions from the main loop: run, jump, avoid, and advance.

The game also respects the player’s flow outside the app. When the application is minimized or the user switches to another app, the run is automatically paused and a pause window is displayed. This ensures that progress is never lost due to interruptions.

Echo Valley is designed as a simple concept-driven runner where atmosphere supports gameplay, not the other way around. It is a space for short focused sessions, steady improvement, and quiet immersion in motion.
