Pros

Has security information for the sector you're in and the ability to contact security as required.
Useful auto check-in feature appreciated by some users.
Provides links to relevant services such as the Uni bus location.

Cons

Frequent issues with notifications and permissions not being clearly communicated.
Significant battery drain reported by multiple users.
Difficulties with registration and activation links.
App behavior is inconsistent, especially with automatic check-in features.

Recent reviews

Initially when I selected "Information", I got a "Web page not available" error. It took me a while to work out that the app didn't have network permissions - it would make sense to raise a specific error message about that. Also, it seems broken for the app to rely on access to a web page instead of having information within the app.

Thx for reply. Editing. I have not used it long enough to say whether it works for me. here are suggestions: I see its essential to have notifications. Please allow notifications to be dismissed by user once read. Please make use cases clearer (e.g. in app description). Make level of care clear by eg getting organisations to link out "info" to a page on how that institution uses safezone. Aside: our building had fire alarms today (not a drill). The app was not used in any way afaik.
