## Description

HWMonitor PRO is a lightweight Android app that displays real-time hardware and battery health information. It shows device temperature sensors (as available), battery voltage, battery temperature and charge level, plus CPU utilization — all updated live so you can spot overheating, drain issues, or performance bottlenecks quickly.

HWMonitor PRO also supports remote monitoring over a local network. You can stream sensor data to a PC running HWMonitor PRO for Windows or to other Android devices, and monitor up to 10 systems from a single Android device. Setup is simple: enable listening on the monitored machine (Windows or Android), add the machine by name or IP on your Android device, and connect. Ideal for power users, IT technicians, and anyone who wants to track device health and diagnose hardware or battery issues remotely.

## Review summary

HWMonitor PRO is valued for real-time, component-level temperature monitoring and multi-device remote viewing. Users like the easy connection and cross-device visibility. However, reliability issues persist, with crashes on startup and after updates. Some reviews also point to missing features and persistent device lists, which hinder consistent use. Overall it works well when it runs, but stability and persistence gaps are the main drawbacks.

### Pros

- Real-time, component-level temperature monitoring for PC and mobile.
- Supports monitoring multiple devices at once across LAN/WAN for remote visibility.
- Easy to connect and generally reliable when functioning; praised as a strong hardware monitoring tool.

### Cons

- Crashes on launch or after updates; instability reported by multiple users.
- Lacks some features and could benefit from more functionality.
- Remote devices/profiles do not persist across restarts; users must re-add them each time.
