## Description

Something travelling with you might be broadcasting. GhostTooth tells you what.

WHAT IT FINDS
• Location trackers: Apple AirTag, Tile, Samsung SmartTag, Chipolo, Pebblebee, Moto Tag and Google Find My Device tags
• Wearable cameras and recorders: camera glasses, body cameras, AI pins
• Anonymous beacons: unbranded hardware with no reason to be following you

HOW SURE IT IS
Every finding is graded. CONFIRMED means the device's own tracking protocol was decoded. LIKELY means several signals agree. POSSIBLE means weak evidence, and POSSIBLE never raises an alarm and is never counted in your totals, because an app that cries wolf is worse than no app at all. Each device tells you why it was flagged, in plain words.

IT KEEPS WATCHING
The useful question is rarely "what is near me right now". It is "has this thing been with me all day". Turn on background monitoring and GhostTooth keeps looking after you close it, then warns you when the same device stays with you across time and places. You choose how sensitive that is: Cautious, Balanced or Sensitive.

FINDING IT
The locator is hot-and-cold: a signal reading that climbs as you close in, a tone that speeds up, and vibration if you cannot hear it.

IT ONLY LISTENS, AND LEAVES NO TRACE
This edition cannot connect to anything. Not switched off: the code is not in the app, and an automated test fails the build if it ever returns. GhostTooth reads public Bluetooth broadcasts and never transmits, so nothing you do here can tell whoever placed a tracker that you found it. Every button is safe to press, on any device, including one you are worried about. That is the point of this edition: it is built for people who might be followed or tracked, and it leaves no trace.

THE PRO EDITION IS A DIFFERENT APP
GhostTooth Pro exists to support the creator. One person builds both editions, ships monthly updates and runs the backend the detection data comes from. As a thank-you, Pro carries a growing set of investigative tools: connect to a device, read what it says about itself, ask a tracker to identify itself, make it ring so you can find it by ear. Tools for investigating the world around you and understanding what is really happening in it.

That power draws a hard line between the two apps. Pro transmits: the devices you investigate can notice your phone and log that it reached them. This free edition never does. If you might be followed, this is your app. If you are comfortable leaving traces on the devices around you and want to investigate, Pro is the one. Detection is identical in both, and paying never buys better protection.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
No account. No ads. No analytics. Nothing you scan leaves your phone, and this edition never backs anything up to the cloud. Its one network request downloads a public list of device identifiers and carries nothing about you.

WHAT IT CANNOT DO
It cannot see devices that are switched off, out of range, or not using Bluetooth. It will not find wired cameras, GPS loggers without a radio, or a phone being used to follow you. A flagged device is not proof by itself, and most turn out to be harmless.

IF YOU FIND SOMETHING
A calm guide is built in: do not destroy it, get somewhere safe first, export the report with its timestamps, rule out innocent explanations, and where to find free, confidential support.

GhostTooth is a detection tool, not a security guarantee and not legal advice.

English, French and Dutch. Android 6.0 and up.
